Streetsweeping Schedule

Each street in the 48th Ward is swept approximately every 18 business days from April through the end of October or later if there is no snow. The following is the planned schedule for upcoming months, but please look for the orange street cleaning notices as dates may change.

Certain border streets may be cleaned by crews from other wards. Please check with their Sanitation Offices if you have questions.

Please contact the 48th Ward Streets & Sanitation office at (312) 744-2130 for up-to-date confirmation on any of these days. Their hours are 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Monday thru Friday.
